Shopping
The main town is Tobermory (13 miles from Calgary) where there is a Co-op, a Spar and a range of independent shops where you will be able to buy most provisions as well as local produce, arts and crafts. The nearest village is Dervaig (5 miles) where you will be able to buy basic provisions from the local shop.

Pubs & Restaurants
Am Birlinn about 3 miles from Calgary offers good food using local ingredients and is open for lunch and dinner. Transport can be provided on request if you don’t want to have a designated driver.

Killoran House just outside Dervaig is 4 miles away and offers fine dining with locally produced organic ingredients.

The Bellachroy Hotel in Dervaig (5 miles) is the nearest pub offering bar meals and snacks. The restaurant is also open all year round to non-residents.

There is also a wide range of cafes, pubs and restaurants in Tobermory (13 miles from Calgary).

Petrol & Diesel
Petrol and diesel are available at Craignure, Salen, Tobermory, and on the Ross of Mull between Bunessan and Fionnphort. Please note that there is no petrol station in Dervaig! You may want to arrive with a full tank as petrol and diesel are significantly more expensive on the island than on the mainland.
